I love Technology!

Blogs: One more way to stay in touch with family and friends. So, we'll give it a try. I'm not sure how I feel about having my inter-most thoughts and feelings spread across the World Wide Web, so don't expect to read any of those, I'll just try to keep a current record of what's happening in the thrilling lives of Dave and Diana Johansen.

We had a really fun Holiday in 2008. All of our kids were able to be home for a few days. Just to re-cap. David and Jenni are in Tucson, AZ. With our first Grandchild- Charlie. He has such a happy personality, always smiling. He is 9 months old. Devin and Nicole are in the middle of no-where in New Mexico, North of Santa Fe. Devin is working at a fish hatchery there, he had to start somewhere! Cody is pursuing a masters degree at San Diego State and Danielle is in Provo, Utah pursuing a degree in Special Effects.

Anyway, it was fun to have them all home, we have a tradition of making Gingerbread Houses at Christmas time, so we were able to do that, visit family, and play lots of games. We even managed to have a family picture taken. So look for that on a future entry.

We had kids here for over a month, then I took Danielle to Utah and visited family and friends for a few days, now that I'm home, and alone, I'm feeling a little lost. I'm sure I'll settle in soon.

David continues to work for Verigy - contracted to Intel. He has been doing a little programing on the side for a small start-up company. Although, I think he is spending more time with them than his regular job, hopefully it will pay off in the long run.

Our mountain property is buried in snow, so not much we can do up there now. As soon as it warms up we'll be back up there. We want to plant more grass, put in sprinklers and possibly build another water slide. Always, something to do up there.
